  1. Jeffrey M. Wilkins first became interested in technology when, as a young 
  2. boy, he used a ham radio to contact someone in Lima, Peru.  Since that 
  3. initial exposure to the possibilities of electronic communication, he has 
  4. continued to stay on the leading edge.

  6. Currently he serves as Chairman of the Board and Chief Executive Officer of 
  7. the Metatec Corporation where his responsibilities include NAUTILUS, 
  8. which he calls "an evolutionary service as opposed to a revolutionary 
  9. service."  He believes that NAUTILUS is a great source of information 
  10. because of what it offers subscribers. [Hear Jeff's remarks by playing

  13. Jeff was a key force in the development and success of the 
  14. CompuServe Information service, an experience which, along with the 
  15. advent of CD ROM technology, led him to formulate the NAUTILUS concept.

  17. He graduated from the University of Arizona with both an under-
  18. graduate and a master's degree in engineering.

  20. In his spare time he enjoys spending time with his wife and children, 
  21. golfing and of course using his computer.
