Tandy Corporation is a $4.5 billion a year company that develops,
manufactures, and sells consumer electronic products and personal
computers. Tandy products are sold through its own channels of
distribution; including Radio Shack, GRiD Systems, Victor Computers,
and on an OEM basis to other computer companies. Radio Shack
introduced the first nationally available PC in 1977 and Tandy
continued its leadership role through the development of multimedia
PC technology. In 1984, the Tandy 1000 became the first PC to
include built-in digital sound and graphics. In 1987, the Tandy
1000TL was the first to include digital recording capability. In 1988,
Tandy began working with Microsoft to develop minimum
specifications for multimedia personal computers. Those
specifications were made public in an announcement in November
1990. This year Radio Shack introduces the first under $400 CD-ROM
drive that met the new specifications. On May 6, 1991, Tandy
became the first company to introduce a full line of affordable
multimedia PC's based on the new specifications.

Video Seven, a business unit of Headland Technology, designs and
markets a family of high-performance graphics cards for IBM-
compatible computers including the VRAM II, V-RAM VGA and VGA
1024i that are supported by the recently introduced Video Seven
Focus, a display list drive for AutoCad Release 11. Video Seven
VRAMII is a second generation VRAM-based VGA card that displays
resolutions up to 1024 x 768 with 256 colors. Video Seven V-RAM
VGA, the industry's first VRAM-based VGA card, displays 256 colors
at resolutions up to 800 x 600 and 16 colors at resolutions up to
1024 x 768. Video Seven VGA 1024i supports resolutions of 640 x
480 and 1024 x 768 with 256 and 16 color respectively.
