- Troubleshooting
-
- - Users with 3dfx Voodoo Rush based boards will need to disable the videos that
- run within the game. You will need to right click on the NCAA Football 99.exe
- and select "Create Shortcut" from the list of options. Then right click on the
- "Shortcut to NCAA Football 99" icon and select properties. On the Target line
- of the Shortcut tab, add a "v" (without the quotation marks) one space after the
- final quotation mark.
-
- The line will look like this:
-
- "C:\...\NCAA99\Program\NCAA Football 99.exe" v
-
- Run this new shortcut to run the game without videos on 3dfx Voodoo Rush boards.
-
-
- - If you get a crash or distorted graphics when loading a football game, it means
- that your video card will not support the polygonal version of the game properly
- under Direct 3D. It will be necessary for you to disable the Direct 3D version.
-
- You will need to right click on the NCAA Football 99.exe and select "Create Shortcut"
- from the list of options. Then right click on the "Shortcut to NCAA Football 99" icon
- and select properties. On the Target line of the Shortcut tab, add a "r1" (without
- the quotation marks) one space after the final quotation mark.
-
- The line will look like this:
-
- "C:\...\NCAA99\Program\NCAA Football 99.exe" r1
-
- This will disable the polygonal version of the game, but you will still get the
- patch updates.
