KyoceraΓÇÖs printer audit enables comparisons to be drawn between the lifetime costs of two printer models based on a range of factors including consumables costs, power consumption, maintenance and warranty costs. All printer data has been supplied by independent market analysts Context and is correct as at 14th November 1997. Prices are shown at RRP and all consumables yields are based on 5% toner density. The facility exists for the user to update data which has changed since publication, to apply a discount value to all financial values or to add printer models which are not represented in the original data table.
The user should enter his/her own print volumes and number of printers to obtain a detailed report which is relevant to their own organisation. Any two printers may be compared, resulting in a cost difference which will be expressed as a saving in favour of the first printer. If the first printer is not the cheapest to run, this value will be negative. A "best fit" button enables the most appropriate Kyocera ECOSYS model to be selected as the first printer automatically if required.
