1. The Free Agents screen allows you to move players between
International teams and the International Free Agent Pool, and
NHL teams and the NHL Free Agent Pool.
2. To put a player on the Trading Block, click on his entry in
the team roster. To remove him from the Trading Block, click on
his entry in the team roster again. To remove all players from
the Trading Block click "Clear Trading Block".
3. Trades are evaluated (see the Trade bar at the bottom of the
screen) but not regulated. The trade bar is merely an indicator
of the balance of a trade. You can trade 1, 2, or 3 players from
one team or the Free Agent Pool for any 0, 1, 2, or 3 players on
another team or the Free Agent Pool.
4. Positions Empty shows you how many empty spaces you have on
a given roster. "S" = Skaters and "G" = Goalies.
5. Selecting "NHL Default Rosters" will set ALL of the rosters
and line combinations back to the defaults. This option is not
available in Season, Playoffs, or Tournament.
6. To accept all of the moves you have made, click the checkmark
in the bottom right corner.
7. To cancel all of the moves you have made, click the "X" in the
bottom left corner.
8. Please note that the International Free Agent Pool is separate
from the NHL Free Agent Pool.
