  1. This self extracting ZIP file will extract three files to default directory:

  3. \programfiles\talonsoft\AOS2\
  4.  
  5. The files in the zip file include:
  6.  
  7. newcamp.exe - New Campaign with 4 scenarios, Fighting Admiral Satan (for instructions see below)
  8. AOS2_UpdateV101.exe - Self extracting update file.  Will install to the same directory where you installed AOS2.
  9. readme_02_06_01.txt (this document)
  10.  
  11. This update includes the following improvements, added features, and tech support updates:

  13. - Improved Sail Repaid
  14. - Improved Multiplayer Game Speed
  15. - Improved Fires on ships
  16. - Information about ship speed updated
  17. - Crew tasks assignment updated
  18. - Ship control in multiplayer mode updated
  19. - Speed control in multiplayer mode updated
  20. - Fort damage improved
  21. - Side B fire control feature added
  22. - Turn time calculation improved
  23. - Campaign defeat briefing feature added
  24. - status arcs on ships have new order, the same as on Helm window
  25. - forts in gun range feature added
  26. - Gun range on ships with carronades updated
  27. - Grapple function improved
  28. - Boarding action improved
  29. - Nest of Pirates campaign 3rd scenario improved
  30. - Players names in multiplayer game feature added
  31. - Prize crew can be put on ships
  32. - Improved fort functionality
  33. - Fog of war - additional info about enemy ships updated
  34. - Campaign save game improved
  35. - Crew can be assigned when game is on pause - new feature
  36. - Marines can be transferred - new feature
  37. - Speed of Melee improved

  45. This self-extracting zip will extract the files to the default directory of:
  46. programfiles\talonsoft\aos2\campaigns

  48. If you installed AOS2 to any other directory besides the default, please extract these files to 
  49. wherever your aos2\campaigns folder is.
