This bulky uniform sacrifices ease of movement for increased protection. Used primarily by demolitions specialists in general outdoor environments, it consists of Level III body armor extending to the groin, a Kevlar Helmet with full faceplate, soft-soled rubber boots, Nomex balaclava, and Nomex/Kevlar gloves. The vest reliably stops all but the most high-powered rifle rounds.
