  50. FLYORDIE GEMJAM GOLD requires an IBM PC or 100% compatible computer,
  51. with a Pentium II 300 Mhz or better processor. Your computer must have

  88. 3.0 INSTRUCTIONS

  91. 3.1 GOAL
  92.  
  93. The object of the game is to score as many points as possible by
  94. collecting gems. For this you walk on a map from cave to cave and
  95. pick up enough gems so that the gate opens and you can exit the cave. 
  96. Beware in the meantime because various enemies are hindering your task.
  97.  
  98. 3.2 CONTROLS
  99.  
  100. Use the NAVIGATION KEYS to move around on the map and in the caves.
  101. To enter a cave on the map press SPACE. Try also the SPACE + NAVIGATION
  102. KEY combination (hold SPACE while pressing a NAVIGATION key), you can
  103. for example pick up items by standing next to them and using this
  104. combination.

  106. 3.3 HINTS
  107.  
  108. You can get a Hint at any time by moving the mouse over the ? (Help) icon
  109. on the menu bar. A bubble help will popup and give you some directions for
  110. the current cave.

  112. 3.4 OPTIONS
  113.  
  114. You can adjust the volume of sound and the extent to which sound 
  115. effects and background music should be mixed.
  116.  
  117. You can also toggle between full-screen and windowed mode, and between
  118. fast and smooth screen scrolling - depending on your preference.

  120. From the Options screen you can also start the High Scores dialog box.
  121.  
  122. 3.5 BEAT THE GAME
  123.  
  124. You have beaten the game when all caves are conquered. To conquer a
  125. cave it's not always enough to collect enough gems to open the gate 
  126. and to get out. In some caves you need to collect more gems than that. 
  127. In these caves the gem counter on the menu bar will start counting 
  128. again after the gate is open - now the counter is red and there is a 
  129. + (plus) sign before the counter to indicate that these gems are 
  130. needed in addition to the normal amount in order to conquer the cave.

  132. 3.6 EXIT THE GAME

  134. To exit the game, press ALT+F4 or click on the X button in the top 
  135. right corner of the window. Alternatively you can select Exit in the 
  136. Options dialog box (click on the Options menu bar icon to open it).

  143. If you enjoy playing the Trial version of FlyOrDie GemJam Gold, 
  144. sooner or later you'll feel a strong urge to purchase the Full version!

  146. 4.1 BENEFITS OF PURCHASING THE FULL VERSION

  148. When you purchase the Full version, you get access to all 60 
  149. levels and the full Tutorial instead of the few levels available 
  150. in the Trial. This also means new worlds with quality graphics 
  151. and sound plus new features that you haven't met yet.

  153. 4.2 HOW TO PURCHASE
  154.  
  155. To purchase online, just click on the BUY NOW button that appears
  156. in the TRIAL REMINDER dialog box when you load the game. 
  157.  
  158. Your browser will start showing the FlyOrDie payment form. You need 
  159. to be online at this point. Follow the instructions on the web. 
  160.  
  161. When you successfully completed the payment forms the registration 
  162. name and code will be displayed on the screen and you will also get 
  163. it in email. Save them for future use. 
  164.  
  165. Now select the ENTER KEY in the TRIAL REMINDER dialog. Enter the 
  166. registration name and key exactly as you received it. The serial 
  167. number you received and the one dispayed in the dialog must be the 
  168. same. Press the OK key.
