"Set 3D to max quality". - If you select this option ATT will
automatically set all 3D settings to maximum quality. Antialiasing - 6x, Anisotropic Filtering - 16x,
"Set 3D to max speed". - If you select this option ATT will
automatically set all 3D settings to maximum speed. Antialiasing - 0x, Anisotropic Filtering - 0x,
+ Update artifact scanning procedure. Now 3D Renderer will show amount of artifacts.
+ Updated System Information module. Added information about Sub Vendor.
+ Updated "High precision" overclocking mode. Now you can set restriction for reference
divider calculation.
How it will work:
By default ATT, in High precision mode, calculate best reference divider, set nearest desired
clocks using range between 2 and 16. Sometimes the bigger divider gives most desired clocks,
but use of bigger divider is a way to unstable overclocking. You can reach better overclocking
values with better stability using smaller dividers, but in this case you will not be able
to set accurate clocks.
You can use "Calculate" button to see which of the dividers will be used for obtaining desired
clocks.
Just for example we want to set GPU of 380Mhz and Memory of 340 MHz. Lets have a look
which clocks we will have with different restrictions:
Clocks : Restriction : Calculated Divider :Total Difference in MHz (GPU+Mem)
379.80/340.20 16 15 0.40
380.25/339.75 14 12 0.50
380.70/340.20 11 10 0.50
381.00/339.00 9 9 2.00
381.38/340.88 8 8 2.26
378.00/339.43 7 7 2.43
382.50/337.50 6 6 5.00
and so on. As you can see small difference is achieved using higher "Calculated Divider".
So if you want to have accurate clocks you should increase restriction or if it doesn't matter
you can use lower restriction.
+ Added hot key to reset display driver
+ Added new module "Monitor Graphs", at this moment you can control speed of GPU/Memory,
GPU/Env Temperatures, FAN Speed and Main CPU Usage. With option to create log files and export
history to TXT/CSV/BMP files at any time.
For ASUS Boards (with FinTek monitoring chip) the value of FAN Speed can be wrong if chip
sets to operate in manual mode (using ASUS SmartDoctor for example).
History capacity is up to 20 000 records.
Automatic display of minimum and maximum values.
Be informed, when computer go to the suspend/hibernate state, with opened Monitoring Window,
ATT automatically close it.
+ Added "Hardware Monitoring" module. Using this module you can put GPU or Environment temperature
to system tray.
+ Added option to dump current Video BIOS to file (experimental mode). Only for Radeon 9500 and up.
+ Added option to show current assigned hotkeys in "General Settings" dialog box for Audio Recorder
and ScreenShot maker.

+ Fixed some bugs in "Default Single Display"
+ Fixed bug when ATT set low refresh rate after switch monitor on
+ Updated overclocking of X800 Series and higher. Now at start time ATT will read actual reference
divider and use them as a default. If you overclocked your card, before starting ATT, using other
utilites , which can change reference divider, ATT will not be able to find actual default divider,
but any way you can overclock after starting ATT.
(Until I find, where is default value for this divider located in BIOS)

system only if your monitor support this interface.
- Turn Monitor Off
- Turn Monitor On
+ Now color settings will not be reset if you change resolution
+ Added option to automaticaly overclock your card if any application required 3D Api (OpenGL/Direct3D)
How it works.
If you enable 2d/3d overclocking you must set which profile shoukd be loaded when application
enter 3d mode and which profile load after this application finished.
ATT some times can not detect when game use 3d mode. If you find such kind of game, create
profile for it.
Also you can create the list of application which should be excluded from auto 2d/3d detecting.
Some of the applications already excluded internaly by ATT and never will be monitored.
explorer.exe
atitray.exe
atitool.exe
nvmixer.exe
+ Changes in game profiles
For Game profiles now you can set 3 options:
1. Take no action - ATT will do nothing even if you enable 2d/3d overclocking and game use 3d mode.
2. Custom overclocking - If you set this option ATT will use overclocking profile you provided
for this game only. even if 2d/3d overclocking is enabled.
3. Use auto 2d/3d - This option tells ATT to use global 2d/3d profiles. This option has no effect
if you disable 2d/3d overclocking. But if you set this option (with global 2d/3d detection enabled)
and your application does not require 3D mode, 3D profile anyway will be loaded.
+ Screensave will be disabled while 3D Render window is active.
- Removed "Autodetect Starting Games". Now this option is part of auto 2d/3d overclocking and always ON.
It can not be disabled.
- Removed "With CPU Heat" function from Artifact tester. Now tester itself can heat main CPU.
1.0.1.358
+ Added "Artifact Tester" with ability to find maximum values for GPU and MEM.
Including an option to heat up main CPU, to simulate game environment.
- Be notified, that procedure to find real maximum clocks is not as simple as you can think.
It is a very huge job and I never will create such options in ATI Tray Tools.
The given procedure is intended to find clock, when no artifact detected during given time,
while rendering a simple scene. (The space ship have about 26 000 triangles.).
So it is up to you, how to use this Tester. 8-)
+ Added new Hardware Window. Now you can control PCI Lantency timer for your
video card. Automaticaly apply value on start up and restore it after suspend/hibernate modes.
