  3.     - Win95 Users: Due to a feature in Win95, your NUM LOCK key may not work.
  4.         Please use the F12 key instead.
  5.     - In order to bring up the menu, right click on the calculator face

  7.     - The Log/10^x button is not mapped to the print screen, as one might expect,
  8.          but rather to the '\' key.
  9.     - The Memory function has many shortcuts, it might be a good idea to read

  23. Aepryus Calculator is a scientific RPN calculator optimized
  24. for use with other applications.  The main focus of AepCalc's
  25. design was usability with an eye towards aesthetics.
  26.  
  27. The program includes the standard scientific functions; handles
  28. octal, decimal and hexidecimal mode and comes with a clever
  29. memory function.

  31. REQUIREMENTS
  32. ------------
  33. This program requires Windows95 or Windows NT 4.0 or higher.
  34. The program works best on a WinNT 4.0 box in 64k or better
  35. graphics mode.

  37. INSTALLATION
  38. ------------
  39. Double click the auto-unarchiving icon and follow onscreen instructions.

  41. REGISTRATION
  42. ------------
  43. This is a trial version of AepCalc.  The trial version disables
  44. the keyboard keys, requiring the mouse to be used.  The keys
  45. will, however, work the first 360 times they are hit.  After that
  46. they will cease to function.

  53. SCREEN COLORS
  54. -------------
  55. Aepryus Calculator ships with two versions packed into the install file.
  56. One version is designed for 16bit color or better graphics mode, the other
  57. for 16 or 256 color graphics mode.  The setup program will automatically
  58. detect which mode your computer is in and copy the appropriate version over.
  59.  
  60. For this reason it is recommended that you use the install program, rather
  61. than simply copying the files, when installing on a new computer, so that
  62. the correct version can be installed.
  63.  
  64. If at all possible, it is recommended that you use the 16bit (64k colors)
  65. mode, because it looks MUCH better.
  66.  
  67. Possibly your graphics card supports this mode.  In order to change modes
  68. right click anywhere on the desktop, select Properties from the popup
  69. menu, then click the settings tab on the Display Properties dialog box.
  70. One of the options is Color Palette.  Switch this to High Color (or 64k
  71. or 65,536 colors or 16bit color).
