*** READ THIS!!!! IMPORTANT INFORMATION ABOUT UPGRADING ***
DO NOT uninstall your exsiting copy of My Personal Diary using the uninstall feature because it will remove all your configuration settings and you should have these to run the diary conversion wizard described below. Simply install the new version to the same directory that you have your previous copy installed in. The setup program will update the necessary files automatically.
My Personal Diary now stores all entries in a single encrypted and compressed file. If you have an exsiting diary created with a previous version you must use the Diary Conversion Wizard (DCW) to import your diary. The DCW is installed with MPD and takes your existing entries and copies them into a new diary file in the new format.
When the DCW asks for your old password make sure you enter it EXACTLY as you did for your existing diary. If you mistype the password and you have uninstalled your old version the DCW will have no way of verifying the password and will assume that it is correct. In this case your entries will not be converted correctly (the text in them will be scrambled) and you will have to repeat the conversion with the correct password.

This program is the full featured trial version of My Personal Diary (32-bit). THIS IS NOT FREE SOFTWARE. It is distributed as Shareware, which allows you to "try before you buy." You may evaluate the software for 30 days. If you continue to use it after the trial period you are required to register.
Registering is the process of paying for the software and supporting our efforts to provide quality software at very reasonable prices. Registering entitles you to free support, the latest version and free updates. Upon registering you will receive a registration ID code that disables all Shareware screens and a disk, if you don't already have the latest version. The software is considered "registered" once the author has received the appropriate payment for the software and the registration ID has been entered in to the program.
WHILE THE SOFTWARE IS SHAREWARE (UNREGISTERED):
You are granted a right to use the unregistered software for an evaluation period of 30 days. If you continue to use the software after the evaluation period you are required to either register or remove the software from your computer.
