  2.     Folder Remarker: the License
  3.     ============================

  5.     The Folder Remarker is shareware. This means:

  7.   - All copyrights to Folder Remarker are exclusively owned by
  8.     White Elk Software.
  9.  
  10.   - Anyone may use this software during a test period of 30 days.
  11.     Following this test period of 30 days or less, if you wish to
  12.     continue to use Folder Remarker, you MUST register.
  13.  
  14.   - Once registered, the user is granted a non-exclusive license to
  15.     use Folder Remarker on one computer (i.e. a single CPU), for any
  16.     legal purpose, at a time. The registered Folder Remarker software
  17.     may not be rented or leased, but may be permanently transferred,
  18.     if the person receiving it agrees to terms of this license. If the
  19.     software is an update, the transfer must include the update and
  20.     all previous versions.

  22.   - The Folder Remarker unregistered shareware version may be freely
  23.     distributed, provided the distribution package is not modified.
  24.     No person or company may charge a fee for the distribution of
  25.     Folder Remarker without written permission from the copyright holder.

  27.   - FOLDER REMARKER IS DISTRIBUTED "AS IS".  NO WARRANTY OF
  28.     ANY KIND IS EXPRESSED OR IMPLIED.  YOU USE AT YOUR OWN
  29.     RISK.  THE AUTHOR WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR DATA LOSS,
  30.     DAMAGES, LOSS OF PROFITS OR ANY OTHER KIND OF LOSS
  31.     WHILE USING OR MISUSING THIS SOFTWARE.

  33.   - You may not use, copy, emulate, clone, rent, lease, sell, modify,
  34.     decompile, disassemble, otherwise reverse engineer, or transfer the
  35.     licensed program, or any subset of the licensed program, except as
  36.     provided for in this agreement.  Any such unauthorised use shall
  37.     result in immediate and automatic termination of this license and
  38.     may result in criminal and/or civil prosecution.

  40.     All rights not expressly granted here are reserved by White Elk
  41.     Software.

  43.   - Installing and using Folder Remarker signifies acceptance of these
  44.     terms and conditions of the license.

  46.   - If you do not agree with the terms of this license you must remove
  47.     Folder Remarker files from your storage devices and cease to use
  48.     the product.
