  15.    An order form is provide under the file name "ORDERFRM.TXT". You can Open this file using Windows Notepad and print it.

  17.    NOTE 1:
  18.    
  19.    This program is written in Visual Basic.  Thus it needs the 
  20.    VBRUN300.DLL (which should be included) to run.  If you got 
  21.    your copy from an online service or bulletin board take note:
  22.  
  23.         Some BBS Sysops remove the VBRUN300.DLL file from Windows
  24.         programs that use it in order to save disk drive space.
  25.         If you are missing the VBRUN300.DLL file, log back on to
  26.         the service or BBS it came from, and, if you can't easily
  27.         find the VBRUN file, leave a comment to your Sysop asking
  28.         how he/she allows people to acquire it.

  30.    NOTE 2:
  31.  
  32.     How to install your program as an Icon with the 
  33.     Windows' Program Manager.
  34.  
  35.     1. First install the program in a DOS directory, 
  36.     outside of Windows.
  37.  
  38.     2. Start up Windows and open the PROGRAM MANAGER.
  39.  
  40.     3. Click once on the group in which you want the 
  41.     new Icon installed.
  42.  
  43.     4. Go up to the menu bar at the top of your screen 
  44.     and click on the word FILE.
  45.  
  46.     5. A menu drops down.  Click on NEW.
  47.  
  48.     6. You will see a window with two choices.  Select 
  49.     PROGRAM ITEM.  Then click on OKAY.
  50.  
  51.     7. Another window appears entitled PROGRAM ITEM
  52.     PROPERTIES.
  53.  
  54.     8. Click in the box labeled DESCRIPTION. Type 
  55.     POKE-IT POKER!.
  56.  
  57.     9. Use the tab key or mouse and go to the box 
  58.     labeled COMMAND LINE.  Type the full name of the 
  59.     path to the directory where you have installed 
  60.     Poke-It Poker, and the name POKER.EXE. For example,
  61.     if the game is in a directory called POKER on the
  62.     C drive you would enter    C:\POKER\POKER.EXE in the 
  63.     box.

  65.     10. Use the TAB key to go to the box labeled WORKING
  66.     DIRECTORY.  Type the name of the directory in which 
  67.     you installed POKE-IT POKER!.  For example, if you 
  68.     installed the game in a directory called POKER, then 
  69.     type C:\ POKER.  
  70.  
  71.     11. Now click on OKAY in the PROGRAM ITEM PROPERTIES
  72.     Window.
  73.  
  74.     You should now have the POKE-IT POKER Icon installed 
  75.     in your PROGRAM MANAGER. Enjoy the game!

  77.    NOTE 3:
  78.    
  79.    It has come to my attention that certain SVGA video hardware
  80.    is non-compatible with the MicroSoft Visual Basic Environment and
  81.    causes problems every so often in 800 x 600 mode and more often in
  82.    1024 x 768 resolution.  Buttons will be misplaced etc.  At the 
  83.    moment there is one solution:
  84.         Open the Windows Setup icon and select CHANGE SYSTEM SETTINGS
  85.         from the OPTIONS menu.  Follow the prompts to change your
  86.         video mode to a 640 x 480 resolution driver.  The game will
  87.         now run fine.  When you're finished, return to Setup and
  88.         re-install your original driver.
