  3. CD-Runner 4.0 was love at first sight. When you first loaded 5.0
  4. nobody heard from you for days.  So what could we possibly have
  5. added in CD-Runner 6.0 Deluxe to make things even better?  
  6.  
  7. Take a look at this...

  9. >>>> Themes: A whole new look!
  10.  
  11. Whatever your mood for the day, you can FULLY customize any part
  12. of the CD-Runner display to match.  Fonts, colors, LED or LCD, 
  13. faceplate display, wallpapers & slideshows... And NOW we've added
  14. 3-d Themes!  Cruise the Faceplate options and choose from our 
  15. default sets of 3-d themes for dynamite faceplate displays to 
  16. choose from.  Can't decide?  You can mix and match these by 
  17. choosing one as a faceplate, and then go to General Setup and 
  18. choose another from the CDRUNNER\THEMES folder as a wallpaper!

  20. Hint: You can also import your favorite .bmp images from 
  21. elsewhere to this folder for quick cusomization.

  27. >> Auto-Launch your favorite Web Browser:

  29. In the CD-Runner Setup - Advanced Section, you'll find the 
  30. utility for selecting your favorite web browser, be it MS 
  31. Internet Browser, Netscape, or even WinCIM.  Once this is 
  32. configured, you'll note a new www launch button on the upper
  33. right-hand screen of every CD-Runner faceplate.

  35. Once you've got a browser assigned just load you favorite CD,
  36. and go for a spin on the net.  Via the handy drop-down menu 
  37. available from within any of the faceplates you can automatically
  38. launch your browser its default URL.  CD-Runner will minimize to 
  39. its Remote Control if you have this option chosen, and you're off 
  40. to surf with your favorite tunes running in the background.

  66. We've done wonders in giving you TOTAL control of your CD drive
  67. while on the net, and wherever else you may be in Windows.  How?

  71. >>  Built-in 'Lite' Option:  Most of our users report that they 
  72. prefer to have CD-Runner power-up and on-board whenever they boot
  73. Windows.  We've created a special 'Lite' version which, when 
  74. placed in you Windows Startup folder will load the CD-Runner 
  75. shell in minimized memory-saving form.  If you have CD-Runner set
  76. to AutoLaunch in Setup, your loaded Audio or CD-ROM will kick 
  77. into gear every time you load Windows.

  79. Clicking the CD-Runner icon on your Windows Task Bar will restore
  80. CD-Runner to it's full working version.

  83. your CD/Internet life.  In Setup, you can choose  to have 
  84. CD-Runner launch this moveable always-on-top controller every 
  85. time CD-Runner is minimized.  The Remote Control includes almost 
  86. all of the features in the full-screen faceplates.  Drop-down 
  87. mini-faceplates and Title Selection boxes are available with a 
  88. simple click on imbedded hotspots.

  97. CD-Runner now comes with an additional faceplate for running and
  98. programming multimedia files in all your favorite formats - WAV,
  99. MID, MIDI, RMI, AVI, MMM, MOV, and MPG. You can also record and 
  100. link any .wav or .mid (sound or music) file to a title CD-ROM 
  101. launch. For your convenience the Multimedia Runner enables quick
  102. recording and preview of sound files to choose from.  Default 
  103. storage directories provide quick user access to stored files. 
  104. Add pizzazz to program intros with introductory song clips or 
  105. pre-recorded instructions for using the program to be launched.

  111. Incompatibility difficulties:  If there's a program out there 
  112. that doesn't have one of these, it will tomorrow!  Windows System
  113. files are being cotinually upgraded by Microsoft and other 
  114. developers.  We're constantly upgrading CD-Runner with the latest
  115. official MS Windows 95 drivers.  Setup and Upgrades now check 
  116. your \WINDOWS\SYSTEM folder to ensure that you've got the latest
  117. offical MS files required for loading and operating CD-Runner
  118. properly.

  120. You'll notice that everything runs faster and smoother.  Graphics
  121. load faster, more thumbnails are available, LED's are hotter, the
  122. libraries are easier to use, and the Audio Section now includes 
  123. features previously reserved for professionals. The CD-Runner 
  124. Help section has also been upgraded to provide help for all of 
  125. the new features. Just press F1 at any time.
