  1. ROVER _ WINCIM MAIL RETRIEVER TROUBLE SHOOTERS GUIDE

  4. o - Ensure you are running the correct language setting for Rover
  5.     ENGLISH, FRENCH, GERMAN or SPANISH.
  6.  
  7. o - You should NOT get the Connect to CompuServe dialog box. The SHOW
  8. AT STARTUP option box SHOULD NOT BE TICKED. If it IS ticked
  9. Compuserve's Information Manager will PAUSE, and NOT start WINCIM.

  12. o - ROVER simulates the keystrokes that the user WOULD use to
  13. retrieve mail from WinCim (ENGLISH VERSION). These command are:-
  14.  
  15.     ALT         key to activate the Menu Bar
  16.     M         to select the Mail option from the Menu Bar.
  17.     R         to select Send/Receive all Mail...
  18.     
  19. A dialog box appears asking if you want to 'Disconnect When Done'
  20. This should be CHECKED. If it is NOT  CHECKED please CHECK it now.

  22.     ENTER    to retrieve your E-mail.

  25. WinCim SHOULD, switch your MODEM ON, and you should hear your modem
  26. dialling. Once connected, your E-mail will then be collected.

  29. o - Rover allows WinCim a set period of time to collect mail, this is
  30. governed by the WINCIM DELAY option, located under SETUP.   The is no
  31. harm leaving this delay factor at 180 seconds (3 minutes), since when
  32. WINCIM has finished collecting your E-mail, WinCIM hangs up the
  33. modem. Only after 3 minutes (or your selected WinCim Delay) after
  34. starting WinCim will ROVER terminate WinCim.
