  3.      The CTS Serial Port Utilities is shareware. The exclusive copyrights to
  4.      this program are held by Computer Telecommunication Systems, Inc.
  5.      Please refer to the following files for license and distribution

  15.                              WHAT IS SHAREWARE?
  16.      ------------------------------------------------------------------
  17.      Shareware is a distribution (or marketing) method that gives you the
  18.      opportunity to try out software before making your purchase decision. It
  19.      has become a major force in the software industry, helping to reduce
  20.      software prices. You may try out the program at your own pace, and then
  21.      decide if the CTS Serial Port Utilities is an application you want on
  22.      your computer. If you try the CTS Serial Port Utilities package and
  23.      continue using it, you are required to register (order) the complete
  24.      product.

  26.      If you should try the SPU and have a problem, PLEASE let us know. We work
  27.      hard to eliminate all problems and add new features and utilities as
  28.      needed by users. But if you don't tell us, we may not know about it!

  30.      If you use the SPU to resolve a problem with your system, then you are
  31.      obligated to purchase a license. You've successfully used the SPU for
  32.      it's intended purpose, so please consider this as a "successful
  33.      evaluation" and purchase the software. You have received a value from the
  34.      software which we worked hard to provide for you.

  36.      After you have used the CTS Serial Port Utilities (SPU) package for a
  37.      reasonable evaluation period (not to exceed 30 days) you must either stop
  38.      using it or buy a licensed copy from Computer Telecommunication Systems,
  39.      Inc.

  43.      * You receive the latest copy of the SPU, including an enhanced
  44.        version of PortInfo which performs additional setup testing for
  45.        Windows.

  47.      * If included with your license option, a printed copy of the
  48.        User Guide including 30 pages of introductory and tutorial
  49.        information about serial port and IRQs.
  50.  
  51.      * Bonus utilities, including Find_COM, SwapIRQ and PortFix (if
  52.        included with your license option - see the ORDER.DOC file for
  53.        details.)

  55.      * A copy of our new guides on installing a modem or serial port and
  56.        troubleshooting serial ports (if included with your license
  57.        option)
  58.  
  59.      * Personal support via phone, mail, fax, or electronic mail. You
  60.        talk to the programmer!

  62.      * Notification of updates and new products.

  64.      * Upgrade Discounts! You are notified by mail shortly after a major
  65.        upgrade is released. Upgrades are available to registered users
  66.        at a significant discount - typically about $10 per release.
