  9.     Added a persistent disk cache feature, so the cache will remember from
  10.     disc to disc and session to session.  Greatly enhanced control over full 
  11.     motion video caching.  Now has full support for AVI, QuickTime and MPEG.
  12.     AVI caching would not be disabled if the program thread that read the 
  13.     file was not the same thread that opened the file.  Fixed.  Made QuickMon
  14.     a trayicon application.  CD-Quick now has the ability to report
  15.     performance data to the Windows 95 System Monitor utility.  Keycodes can
  16.     now be entered from the opening splash screen.  Now allows an uninstall
  17.     if in "Safe Mode".  QuickMon can now adjust for on-the-fly screen
  18.     resolution and color palette changes.  Setup now sets the non-compressed
  19.     hard drive with the most free space as the default for cache storage.
  20.     Now displays a warning if installation is attempted on Windows NT.  Now
  21.     warns if a Keycode for the DOS/Windows 3.x version is entered.  Added a
  22.     running day count to the opening splash screen.  Fixed some minor user
  23.     interface issues such as the use of the wrong text color with a black
  24.     background.

  26.     Version 2.01 - 1/8/97
  27.     A long standing compatibility problem was discovered that could occur
  28.     with any low level disk utility that does volume locking.  After such
  29.     a utility was run, Windows 95 would no longer allow CD-Quick to access
  30.     its swap file.  Known utilities that exhibit this problem are the
  31.     Windows 95 ScanDisk and Defrag, and the Norton Utilities Speed Disk.
  32.     This version of CD-Quick fixes the problem.

  34.     Version 2.00 - 12/28/96
  35.     Added the new utility, CD-Test to demonstrate CD-Quick's effectiveness.
  36.     All graphics have been updated to Windows 95 conventions throughout 
  37.     as well as new ones for CD-Quick.  CD-Quick's timing has been changed 
  38.     to improve operation with some CD-ROMs.  Maximum cache size for disk 
  39.     has been increased to 128MB.  QuickMon's "Cache On" selection will now 
  40.     remember it's setting between sessions.  A direct link to our Web Site 
  41.     has been added to CD-Quick's splash screen and help file.  CD-Quick no 
  42.     longer displays a warning if no CD-ROM is found at startup (done for 
  43.     Laptops with removable drives).  Uninstall can now remove the CD-Quick 
  44.     directory as well.  Install will no longer mark files as "Read-Only" 
  45.     if installed from a CD-ROM.

  47.     Version 1.20 - 6/10/96
  48.     Some Windows 95 CD-ROM drivers still had compatibility problems with
  49.     CD-Quick.  This has now been fixed for good.  Added the ability to 
  50.     disable caching of .AVI video clips.  CD-Quick no longer requires 
  51.     CTL3D32.DLL.  QuickMon now displays the percent saved when minimized
  52.     in the Windows 95 task bar.  Setup is unable to add a ShortCut for
  53.     QuickMon if the Start Menu isn't in English.  Added a warning message.
  54.     Added a text file to aid in uninstalling CD-Quick for those people who
  55.     won't read the manual.

  57.     Version 1.10 - 4/16/96
  58.     Some Windows 95 CD-ROM drivers had problems with CD-Quick, causing
  59.     the software to lock.  Fixed!  If QuickMon was started without first
  60.     accessing a CD-ROM drive, a page fault could occur.  Fixed!  CD-Quick
  61.     wouldn't delete its old swap file if the drive used for the swap was
  62.     changed.  Fixed.
