  14. QPeek10.EXE is a self-extracting setup utility.  Just run the
  15. program and follow the prompts.  The default options should be
  16. adequate for most installations.

  18. When you launch QPeek for the first time, you will be presented
  19. with the QPeek Setup Wizard to help guide you through a basic
  20. configuration.

  22. You can modify these settings at any time by clicking the icon 
  23. on the toolbar or selecting the settings you wish to modify in 
  24. the Setup menu.

  28. General Information
  29. -------------------
  30. QPeek is a Windows NT / 95 utility that will allow you to retrieve
  31. screen images of a computer via the internet or your local network
  32. with any web browser supporting the .PNG or .JPG image format.
  33. (IE 4.0 and Netscape 4.0 function well as an interface.)

  35. You can set security based on user required passwords as well as
  36. IP Address restrictions for access to the internal web server.
  37.  
  38. QPeek can also automatically capture screen images at a predefined
  39. interval and according to a daily schedule.  These images can be
  40. stored on the local computer, another computer on your network, or
  41. they can be sent to a remote computer via FTP.
  42.  
  43. Although QPeek does not require custom client software, we have
  44. included the PeekMaster tool, which allows you to monitor several
  45. computers simultaneously.  With the PeekMaster tool, you can create
  46. computer groups, and save and print images.

  55. Before you install
  56. -------------------
  57. In order to utilize the internal web server or the FTP portion
  58. of Auto Capture functionality, you must have the TCP/IP networking 
  59. protocol up and functioning before attempting to configure the 
  60. QPeek Internal web server.  Obviously, without the TCP/IP stack 
  61. available, you will not be able to connect to the QPeek server.
