  3. To install "System Pack Volume III: FILES", unzip file to any location you
  4. prefer.
  5.  
  6. 1.1 Files and directories
  7.  
  8. After extraction you will have a "System Pack Volume III: FILES" directory with
  9. the following structure:
  10.  
  11. "FILES"\
  12.     Delphi3
  13.     Delphi4
  14.     Delphi5
  15.     ForDelphi5
  16.     Demo
  17.     Help
  18.  
  19. 1.2 Installing the Packages into Delphi
  20.  
  21. The component binaries must be placed into your compiler-named directory.
  22. To install "System Pack Volume III: FILES" component, locate appropriate
  23. Delphi design-time package and install it into your environment, from
  24. Component|Install Package, followed by "Add". In addition you also need
  25. to add the compiler-named directory to either your project search path or
  26. your library path.

  28. 1.3 Instaling the Package into Delphi (Registered users)
  29.  
  30. The component source code must be placed into your compiler-named directory.
  31. To install "System Pack Volume III: FILES" component, locate appropriate Delphi
  32. package source file and install it into your environment, from File|Open
  33. select type *.dpk, followed by Install.
  34.  
  35. "System Pack Volume III: FILES" is currently available as VCL based component
  36. for Delphi 3-4-5.

  38. 1.4. For Delphi5 users:

  40. Place files dsgnintf.dcu and masks.dcu in Delphi5/lib directory.
  41. For your convenience dsgnintf.dcu and masks.dcu are placed in ForDelphi5
  42. directory.
