Enhanced Virtual Desktops is a program that permits you to have up to nine virtual desktops for better application management.
This means that you can work in a more clean environment dividing active applications in more desktops.
This version of EVD is more stable and compatible with applications such "Cursor XP".
After EVD starts you should see a small icon in the tray area of your pc (the right part of the Windows taskbar)
The green rectangle in the icon signals the current desktop (from left to right, top to bottom); the last desktop (9) is the right/bottom one ;-)
These are the main program features:
- You can work using nine different desktops
- Each desktop can have a custom name and a custom wallpaper
- You can setting hot-keys for fast desktop switching and temporaly disable them (very useful if you have to run a game that needs the same combination of hot-keys used by EVD).
- When the program autostarts with Windows it is able to maintain the taskbar button order
- You can view all active applications and the icon associated
- You can move applications from a desktop to another
- You can make your desktop icons transparent
- Compatible with all Windows versions
- Current desktop foreground indicator
