  7. You should carefully read the following terms and conditions
  8. before using this software.  Unless you have a different license
  9. agreement signed by ALTernative Productions. your use of this
  10. software you indicates your acceptance of this license agreement
  11. and warranty.

  18. A registered version of PMC may be used on any computer inside your house. 
  19. To be clear: You have to register once to use as many copies as you like
  20. on computers inside your own house for private use.

  23. Organisations and commercial use
  24.  
  25. Organisations of any type or individuals using PMC for commercial 
  26. purposes must register for each copy they want to use.
  27. You may access the registered version of PMC through a network,
  28. provided that you have obtained individual licenses for the
  29. software covering all workstations that will access the software
  30. through the network.  For instance, if 8 different workstations
  31. will access PMC on the network, each workstation must have its
  32. own PMC license, regardless of whether they use PMC at
  33. different times or concurrently.

  37. This agreement shall be governed by the laws of the Netherlands.

  39. Disclaimer of Warranty

  41. THIS SOFTWARE AND THE ACCOMPANYING FILES ARE SOLD "AS IS" AND
  42. WITHOUT WARRANTIES AS TO PERFORMANCE OF MERCHANTABILITY OR ANY
  43. OTHER WARRANTIES WHETHER EXPRESSED OR IMPLIED.  Because of the
  44. various hardware and software environments into which PMC may
  45. be put, NO WARRANTY OF FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE IS
  46. OFFERED.
  47. Try the Shareware version before you register to be sure PMC
  48. works fine on your computer. If you like the program but find
  49. any problems contact me with as much details as you can give
  50. about when the problem occured (what were you doing at that
  51. moment) and your system.

  53. Good data processing procedure dictates that any program be
  54. thoroughly tested with non-critical data before relying on it.
  55. The user must assume the entire risk of using the program.  ANY
  56. LIABILITY OF THE SELLER WILL BE LIMITED EXCLUSIVELY TO PRODUCT
  57. REPLACEMENT OR REFUND OF PURCHASE PRICE.

  62. This is not free software.  You are hereby licensed to use this
  63. software for evaluation purposes without charge for a period of 8 weeks.  
  64. If you use this software after the evaluation period a registration fee of $25 is required.
  65. Payments must be in US dollars, German Marks or Dutch Guilders (Fl 30,-).
  66. Read ORDER.TXT to learn how to order and find a registration form.

  68. Unregistered use of PMC after the evaluation period is
  69. in violation of Dutch and international copyright laws.

  71. Distribution

  73. Provided that you verify that you are distributing the Shareware
  74. Version (select About from the Help menu to check) you are
  75. hereby licensed to make as many copies of the Shareware version of
  76. this software and documentation as you wish; give exact copies of
  77. the original Shareware version to anyone; and distribute the
  78. Shareware version of the software and documentation in its
  79. unmodified form via electronic means.  There is no charge for any
  80. of the above. It is NOT allowed to pass your registration key or
  81. the file PMC.KEY through to others.

  83. You are specifically prohibited from charging, or requesting
  84. donations, for any such copies, however made; and from
  85. distributing the software and/or documentation with other products
  86. (commercial or otherwise) without prior written permission.
