  1. General Infomation for SBNews/NewsBot

  4. Purpose:

  6.   SBNews downloads and decodes news articles automatically. For further
  7.   info, please see NEWSBOT.HTM or NEWSBOT.DOC.

  9. SBNews is available in two versions:
  10.  
  11.   1) SBNEWSxx.ZIP ... 16-bit version, Windows 3.1, W4WG, etc
  12.   2) SBN32_xx.zip ... 32-bit version, Windows-95, Windows-NT
  13.  
  14. Documentation is included in this archive in two formats:

  16.   1) HTML format: NEWSBOT.HTM, REGISTER.HTM, etc
  17.  
  18.      HTML format (HyperText Markup Language) files may be loaded by your
  19.      web browser, or various html utilities. The file is formatted much
  20.      nicer in HTML than in the plain ascii format below.

  22.   2) Ascii format: NEWSBOT.DOC, REGISTER.DOC, etc
  23.  
  24.      A conversion of the HTML format files to plain ascii. If you don't
  25.      have a program that understands html, you can use these files.
