  68. PrivateEXE for Win'95/NT is an innovative software which allows you to
  69. password protect existing 32-bit Windows executables. You can effectively
  70. lock your most sensitive programs and utilities (like tax preparation or
  71. financial planning software) from unauthorized access. Only the person
  72. who knows protection password can run the program.

  74. Passwords can be set, changed, and removed separately for each program.
  75. PrivateEXE modifies existing .EXE file, so that the program, if invoked,
  76. first asks the user for a password and would not start unless the correct
  77. password is entered.

  79. PrivateEXE runs on both Windows'95 and Windows/NT. It operates regardless
  80. of installed file system type (NTFS, FAT-32, FAT, etc.). The software
  81. doesn't modify Windows Registry or any other part of the operating
  82. system. Neither does it create any hidden files or disk sectors - it only
  83. modifies the executable itself, saving the original file under a
  84. different name for your safety.
