  2. WinFinger (WINFIN.EXE) is a small Winsock app which obtains information based
  3. on a user's email address. Enter the user and site name and select "Find" or
  4. press Enter to start the search. If any information on the person is found, it
  5. is displayed below the name and address fields.

  7. WinWho (WINWHO.EXE) is a small Winsock WhoIs app which looks up any information
  8. found about the text entered in the "Name" field. The server polled is
  9. specified in the "Server" field. To change servers, simply enter a new server
  10. name before running a query.
  11. A list of servers may be obtained by selected the "Change" button. If the
  12. "server of servers" is up (I haven't seen it down), a list of servers is
  13. displayed in the "Information" field. Information obtained from a query is also
  14. displayed in this field.

  16. Both applications copy their Information text to the clipboard by selecting the
  17. "Copy" button.

  19. By using either or both of these applications, the user assumes full respon-
  20. -sibility for their proper use and may not hold the author liable for any loss
  21. or damage. If unable to accept this condition, the software may not be used and
  22. must be destroyed immediately. The software may be freely distributed but is
  23. not public domain and may not be altered in any way without permission from the
  24. author.
