  1. Internet Resources Database - Reader & Notebook

  7. To install the program:
  8.  
  9. Run the program "SETUP.EXE"
  10.  
  11. It is recommended to install the program not to the same directory that
  12. contains the setup files. You may want to delete the setup files after
  13. installation.
  14. The files that can be deleted are: ird.pak; pi.ex_; pi.ipj; ird.bmp; instbmp.pak;
  15. instbmp.fip; ird.fip; readme.*; emptydb.pak; setup.exe.

  17. You may want to save the IRD-R&NB.EXE file.
  18.  
  19. Use one of the IRD - download sites to retrieve the
  20. Internet Resources Database files that pertinent to your interests.
  21.  
  22. Note: The appendable *.IRD database file that is part of this program
  23. is just for demonstration purpose!.
  24. The file is not meant as comprehensive guide and is 
  25. most likely not very current.

  29. Changes compared to Vers.: Beta 0.9

  31. 1.) Submit function implemented

  33. 2.) Fixes bug with "Import your data". V 0.9 did not import 
  34. "Notebook" entries.

  36. 3.) Updated help file. Help file in  Beta 0.9 was compiled with Color "Auto"
  37. causing text to be unreadable with certain color settings.

  39. 4.) Default cache size setting reduced to minimize problems with insufficient
  40. available resources and related system hang ups.

  42. 5) Directory /contrib and related text templates removed. Replaced with function
  43. "SUBMIT"
  44.  
  45. 6) Subtopic preview list closed as default setting.
  46.  
  47. 7) "Enter" in edit fields causing "Save" eliminated.
  48.  
  49. 8) Smaller "cosmetic" changes.
  50.  
  51. This program is not tested for being installed in a network environment.
