  5. Totally Unauthorized Cheat Codes for Heretic.

  8. Guess you would like to know how to cheat in Heretic, well, 
  9. don't type iddqd, you've probably figured that one out by now.  
  10. idkfa doesn't work either.  I'll show you the codes that do work, 
  11. and if you have any problems, or questions, 
  12. drop me a note at 73252,1413.

  16. I'm working on the developers parameters, 
  17. i.e. -devparm, and will upload that document as soon as I can.

  19. The Heretic Cheat Codes
  20.  
  21. Note: Just type these codes in while playing, 
  22. you will receive the benefit immediately.  These codes only
  23. work on the first 4 difficulty levels, the 5 level is like the 
  24. nightmare mode in DOOM & DOOM II.
  25.  
  26. The Code                What it does
  27.  
  28. kitty           =       Toggle Clipping 
  29.             - Walk through walls, type it again                             
  30.             to turn it off
  31.  
  32. ravmap          =       Shows entire map in map mode 
  33.             (Hit tab for map mode)
  34.             type ravmap twice shows where all the 
  35.             monsters are.
  36.             type ravmap a third time to revert to the 
  37.             original.
  38.  
  39. massacre        =       This kills all of the monsters on the current 
  40.             level.
  41.  
  42. skel            =       This gives you all the keys
  43.  
  44. rambo           =       This gives you all the weapons & 200% Armor.
  45.  
  46. quicken         =       GOD Mode.  You can't be harmed
  47.  
  48. ponce           =       Full Health
  49.  
  50. shazam          =       Weapon Power up (Tome of Power) lasts for 
  51.             30 secs.
  52.  
  53. engage          =       Level Warp.  i.e. engage12 would take you to
  54.             the second level of the first epidsode.
  55.  
  56. gimme           =       This gives you the other Heretic items from 
  57.             a menu.
  58.             
  59.             It will ask for an item letter (a-j)
  60.             and a quanity (1-9)
  61.  
  62.             i.e. gimme a 9 
  63.             This would give you 9 invincibility rings.
  64.             You then use the items from your inventory 
  65.             using the [ ] keys to select it, then press 
  66.             enter to load the item, press enter again 
  67.             during play to use the item.
  68.             
  69.     Here are the letters for the gimme command
  70.         
  71.     a:      Ring of Invincibility
  72.     b:      Shadowsphere (Partial Invisibility)
  73.     c:      Quartz Flask (Purple Vial, gives 7 chain links of 
  74.         health)
  75.     d:      bad input (havn't figured this one out yet)
  76.     e:      Tome of Power (Black Skull Book, gives your weapons 
  77.         superpowers!
  78.     f:      Torch (Light up dark areas, duh.)
  79.     g:      Bomb of the Ancients (If you lay one down, move away 
  80.         fast!)
  81.     h:      Morph Ovum (Turns the enemy into a chicken)
  82.         - The little chickens will attack and peck you, kill 
  83.         them!
  84.     i:      Wings of Wrath (You can fly!)
  85.     j:      bad input (havn't figured this one out yet)

  88. And finally, ever wonder what Heretic looks like from a chickens 
  89. point of view? 
  90.  
  91. Type cockadoodledoo     
  92. This turns you into a chicken for a short period of time.
