  1. We have been unable to make any headway into the German lines. Their 
  2. positions in the Hurtgen Forest has proven to be too strong for us to 
  3. overcome at this time. This mean that the Allies will have to wait till next 
  4. spring before another attempt can be made to breach the Rhine River. 
  5. Your failure in this mission is disappointing but understandable to the 
  6. General Staff. Your unit has been sent to the Ardennes Forest  for rest ad 
  7. refit. Enjoy your vacation in this "quiet" sector.
