The 4in1 drivers are the same for all VIA chipsets and all Microsoft operating systems (Win 95, 98, 98SE, 2000, ME & XP). Includes Improved IDE driver version 1.20. Includes silent installation of a patch which adjusts a memory setting in BIOS on some VIA Apollo chipsets to ensure stability with the latest video drivers under all Windows Operating Systems.

  30. Do not update 4-1 drivers unless you are experiencing problems.

  32. Microsoft Windows XP has native XP support and 4-1 drivers usually are not needed.
