3. Troubleshooting
=======================================================================
Problem: After installing this driver, the Control panel applet I had
for a Voodoo Graphics card is gone.
Resolution: Voodoo2 will uninstall *ANY* Voodoo Graphics drivers. This
is to ensure only Voodoo2 drivers are on the system.
Problem: How I change the refresh rate and Gamma?
Resolution: Settings can be adjusted to change the refresh rate and
gamma for glide. Seperate settings are adjusted for Glide
and Direct3D. The Voodoo2 Control panel is the easiest
way to adjust these settings. To manually adjust settings you
must edit the System Registry. See sections 4 and 5 in this
README.TXT file for specific instructions.
========================================================================
4. Direct3D Applications
========================================================================
Using Registry Editor, edit:
HKLM\SOFTWARE\3Dfx Interactive\Voodoo2\D3D
WARNING: Using Registry editor incorrectly can cause unexpected
results. Only those familiar with Windows 95 and the System
Registry should attempt to make any changes. Be sure to make
a backup copy of your system registry before proceeding!
Alternatively, use the Voodoo2 Control panel in the Display
Properties to easily make the same changes as shown here.
