  17. HyperSynth has announced that it has
  18. updated HyperSID, and the associated
  19. hardware unit OS, to v1.2.
  20.  
  21. OS v1.2 has been completely
  22. redesigned and some long standing
  23. issues have been fixed. In this
  24. release all the processing tasks are
  25. handled by HW unit. The big flaw in
  26. the previous versions was the low
  27. update rate of modulation sources but
  28. now the HW unit is capable of filling
  29. SID registers with update rates up to
  30. 28000 Hz.

  32. The VSTi plug-in represents a step
  33. forward in controlling the new LFO
  34. and envelope modules with great
  35. preciseness and resolution up to 14
  36. bit for each parameter plus an ultra
  37. fast apreggiator module to emulate
  38. C64 like sound. Due to many requests,
  39. HyperSynth has published "HyperSID
  40. MIDI CC-NRPN Chart" in the website as
  41. a document, and suggests that "it's
  42. time for Mac users to start building
  43. their own control surface".
