  2.       MINIMIG Firmware Update

  5. Hi,
  6. I have just uploaded new firmware for
  7. the Minimig. It's still work in
  8. progress and not all intended
  9. modifications have been already
  10. implemented. Nevertheless it's a
  11. small step forward. Please report any
  12. incompatibility which you encounter.

  14. Main features:
  15.  
  16. - a lot of changes to improve
  17.   compatibility (included text file
  18.   contains more detailed description)
  19. - support for 4 (with ARM mini-board)
  20.   or 2 floppy drives
  21. - selectable floppy drive speed
  22.   (double or normal)
  23. - support for hard disk emulation
  24.   (hardfile support) with soon to be
  25.   released ARM mini-board
  26. - 28 MHz CPU turbo mode (works also
  27.   with 16 MHz 68SEC000 parts)
  28. - fast blitter mode
  29. - selectable PAL and NTSC mode from
  30.   the OSD menu
  31. - OSD menu control with Enter, Esc
  32.   and arrow keys
  33. - ADF files are not alphabetically
  34.   sorted but can be selected by
  35.   pressing a key with the first letter
  36.   of their name
  37. - support for 2 MB of Chip and 1.5 MB
  38.   of Slow RAM (hardware modification
  39.   required)
  40. - scan-line emulation effect
