Welcome To Trak Master 1.0 -- (C) 1991 Puppet Master [PE]
-----------------------------------------------------------
The Ultimate Logical Graphix Interface For Trak Blaster 1.4
System Requirements:
--------------------
- A PC Compatible Computer
- A Sound Blaster Card
- Trak Blaster 1.4 (Included In This Package)
- Some .MOD Files (Included In This Package)
Included Inside This Package:
-----------------------------
TM-1 .DOC [ What You Are Reading Now ]
TM-1 .EXE [ Trak Master 1.0 ]
TRAK .EXE [ The Original Trak Blaster ]
TRAKINST .EXE [ IRQ Set Program For TRAK.EXE ]
TUNE1 .MOD [ Sample Tune ]
TUNE2 .MOD [ Sample Tune ]
TUNE3 .MOD [ Sample Tune ]
What Does It Do?
----------------
This Little Interface I Built In TURBO PASCAL Is Pretty Simple. All It Does
Is Simplify The Usage Of This Great Sound Program Called Trak Blaster 1.4
So From Now On, You Shall No Longer Need To Type: 'TRAK <module.mod>'.
You Now Shall Only Type : 'TM-1'.
Then Everything Will Be Self Explanatory Once Inside The Program. You'll
See... If You Liked The Sound Out Of Trak Blaster But Didn't Like The User
Interface, Well TM-1 Is What It's All About.
Before Running TM-1:
--------------------
1> Create A Directory
2> Copy TM-1.EXE Into That Directory
3> Copy TRAK.EXE Into That Directory
4> Copy All Your .MOD Files Into That Directory
5> Then You Can Run TM-1.EXE
NOTE: If There Are No .MOD Files Detected In The Current Directory,
TM-1 Will Simply Drop Back To Dos Imediatly.
Once Inside TM-1:
-----------------
<up>
All The Direction Keys Will Allow You
<left> <right> To Move Around The Screen To Select A Tune.
<down>
-----
<enter> This Key Will Bring You Inside The Play Tune
Sub Menu If You'r Inside The Tune Selection
Menu, And Will Play The Tune If You'r Inside The
Play Tune Menu.
------
<pgdn> This Key Will Allow You To Go To The Next Page
Of Tunes. Each Page Has 55 Tunes. So If In Your
Directory You Have More Then 55 .MOD Files, They
Will Be In A Second Page. Use Page Down To Go To
That Next Page.
<pgdn> This Key Will Pop You Back To The First 55 Tunes
Screen. You Can Now Use Page Down Again To Go
Thrue Once Again.
------
<esc> This Key, If Pressed In The Tune Selection Menu
Will Drop You Back To DOS. If Pressed In The
Tune Playing Menu, Will Drop You Back To The
Tune Selecting Menu.
Updates In Further Versions:
----------------------------
As Soon As I Get My Hands On The Source Or The .MOD File Structure, Either
In C, ASM, Or PASCAL, I Will Program My Own Player Inside The .EXE File. Now
Since I Have No Idea How The .MOD Files Are Structured, All I Can Do Is Use
The Old Shitty German Trak Blaster... If Anyone Out There Knows The .MOD
File Structure Or Even Better Has The Source Code, Please Get In Touch With
Me.
