Resolution Settings
-------------------
For the best resolution to run Empire Builder we recommend you
set it to 800x600 using Large Font. The higher the colour
setting the better, 256 or higher is best.
Date Settings
-------------
It is important for the successful running of the software to
have the system's date setting to English (British) format.
The above settings can be made using your Control Panel. Click
on the Start button and select Settings and then select Control
Panel from the submenu. Click on Regional Settings icon to alter
the date format and click on Display and then Settings to alter
the resolution.
Reinstalling Empire Builder
---------------------------------
Should you need to reinstall Empire Builder after you have
originally installed then you must first of all uninstall it from
your system. To do this you must go to your Control Panel
(select the Start button and then Settings on the menu). Then
select the Add/Remove Programs icon. In the list of programs
that is now displayed select Empire Builder and then click on
the Add/Remove button. When the UninstallShield software has
finished you may be given a message to the effect that some
components could not be uninstalled. If you do get this message
you must use the Windows Explorer to manually delete the
elements that could not be uninstalled.
In the directory where you installed the software (normally
\Program Files) delete the \Suresoft directory ie. \Program
Files\Suresoft.
Ensure you have carried out the above before reinstalling the
software. Failure to do so may cause some problems with the new
installation.
If you have any problems with the above please contact Suresoft
support on 0161 860 0020 or email us on support@sure-soft.com.
