Welcome to Xoom's How Do I... Helper!!!
So, you took the plunge! You have discarded your old Windows 3.1
system, and you have moved up to Windows 95! Isn't it great?
Using Windows 95 is so easy, right? If you don't know how to do
something, just click Help, and your answer instantly appears on the
screen!
Oh, if it were only true, but of course it is not. Using Windows 95
Help can often be a very frustrating experience. You have to know
"computerese" to navigate through the Help System. Why can't I
just ask the Help system a question using plain English, and have it
give me a simple answer that I can use?
Fortunately, that is exactly what Xoom's How Do I... Helper does for you.
It comes with hundreds of commonly asked questions, formulated using
plain English - NOT computerese! All you need to do is click on the
question you need answered, and the answer appears on your screen!
There is an easy-to-use search tool to help you quickly find the
question you need answered.
The answers to your questions are described in simple, step-by-step
instructions. And if you need to perform a task immediately and want a guide to
walk you carefully through each step, just click the Hands On button.
We currently have two How Do I... Helpers - one for Windows 95, and one
for Surfing the Internet with Netscape Navigator.
The How Do I... Helper for Windows 95 answers most of the questions that new users
have when trying to get things done in Windows 95. For example,
"How Do I... See what's on a floppy disk?" and "How Do I...
Change the Background of my Desktop?"
The How Do I... Helper for Surfing the Internet with Netscape Navigator will
answer your questions you have about the exciting, and often
intimidating world of the Internet. For example, "How Do I... Go to
a Web Page?" and "How Do I... Find out someone's e-mail address?"
We're sure that you'll discover that getting your questions answered
with How Do I... Helper is far easier and less stressful than wandering around
help files.
