  55. INSTALLING EARTHLINK 5.0
  56. =========================
  57.  
  58. To begin installation, insert the CD-ROM into your CD-ROM drive.
  59. The Setup program will automatically be run from the CD-ROM. If it
  60. does not start automatically, do the following:
  61.  
  62. 1. Click the Start menu and then click Run.
  63. 2. Type: "D:\Install.exe", where D: is the drive letter of your CD-ROM
  64.    drive.
  65.  
  66. NOTE to Customers of previous versions of TotalAccess:
  67. If you have a previous version of TotalAccess on your machine, the
  68. installation program will attempt to convert any existing accounts
  69. to EarthLink 5.0.  No attempt is made to overwrite, modify or
  70. upgrade your existing version.

  73. UNINSTALLING EARTHLINK 5.0
  74. ===========================

  76. To uninstall EarthLink 5.0, carry out the following procedure:
  77.  
  78. 1. Close any EarthLink programs that are running (EarthLink 5.0, 
  79.    EarthLink Toolbar, etc.).
  80. 2. Click the Start menu, point to Settings, and then click
  81.    Control Panel.
  82. 3. Double-click the Add/Remove Programs icon.
  83. 4. On the Install/Uninstall tab, click EarthLink 5.0,
  84.    and then click Remove.
  85.  
  86. NOTE: Some files may not be deleted during uninstall if they are
  87.       in-use. These files will be removed when Windows is
  88.       restarted.
