  9. Version 1.0 of Macintosh Super Tetris does not correctly play sound and music on Macintosh AV and Power Mac models.

To fix this problem, we have updated the "Super Tetris Sounds" file with a newer sound driver. To update your copy of Super Tetris, first rename your current copy of "Super Tetris Sounds" to "Old Super Tetris Sounds" so you have a backup. Then just copy the new "Super Tetris Sounds" file to the Super Tetris folder on your hard drive. To do this, click on the icon labeled "Super Tetris Sounds" on this floppy disk and drag it to the Super Tetris folder on your desktop.

  13. Note: If you have a problem with the sound pausing or stopping, try toggling "All Sound" off and on again from the menu bar.

If you have the Tetris Gold CD-ROM, you can update your copy of Super Tetris to make the sound compatible on AV and Power Mac models. You will, however, need to install Super Tetris to your hard drive, and you will not be able to play the game from the CD-ROM. First, copy the game by clicking on the "Super Tetris MAC" folder icon and dragging it to your hard drive. Then copy the new "Super Tetris Sounds" file to the Super Tetris folder on your hard drive. To do this, click on the  icon labeled "Super Tetris Sounds" on this floppy disk and drag it to the Super Tetris folder on your desktop.
