- Documentation for Getpal.prg & Pallete.acc
-
- Getpal.prg-Use this program to create use your own custom color
- file. Using Control.acc setup your screen colors the way you like
- and then double click Getpal.prg. This will create a file on your
- disk called pallete.dat. Copy this file onto your boot-up disk
- along with Pallete.acc.
-
- Pallete.acc- This program and pallete.dat will eliminate the need
- for Control.acc on your boot-up disk in order to set your colors.
- When you click this accessory it will look for Pallete.dat and use
- the info to set up your screen. If it doesn't find the file it will
- default to my blue screen. Use of these two files will save 14K.

- Warnings
- -------
-
- If you switch resolution and run the accessory you may get strange
- screen colors. This is due to TOS using a different amount of colors
- depending on screen resolution.Keep in mind this ACC was meant to run
- in the resolution the pallete.dat file was created in and and switching
- resolution and running ACC may produce strange results. Remember to
- keep Desktop.inf on your boot disk to maintain correct resolution
- and other parameter setups.
