- How to 'Mark' boards to let you easily scan all the areas you are
- interested in.
-
- Use the Msg. Menus to move to a message area of interest.
- At the prompt, enter MB to mark that area.
- Quit back to the menus and repeat the above for each area you wish.
- Make sure you mark the Main area. Info is posted there (here).
-
- Read the new msgs in that area (RN = read new command).
- When done, use the NB (next board) command to go directly to the
- next message area you have marked.
- Continue to use the RN and NB commands to cycle through all the
- areas you have marked.
-
- You can 'unmark' areas with the UB command to take them out of your
- scan cycle.
-
- That's it. After you set up your marked boards once and use the
- above commands, it makes navagation MUCH easier.
-
-
- MB - MARK BOARD: This command allows a caller to mark the board for
- scanning and to allow them to move between boards. If a board
- is not marked they can not be scanned at logon, nor can they
- use the NB command.
- UB - UNMARK BOARD: This is the opposite of the mark board command
- NB - NEXT BOARD: This command is to boards as the teleporter is to
- menus. This command when choosen looks for the next marked
- and takes the caller to it.
- C - *SYSOP* COPY MESSAGE: Takes the current message and replaces the
- special bulletin with it.
