- Use this field for to search for a specific card in the displayed list. Type in a
-
- few characters of the card name and press Tab. M.Y.O.B. searches the displayed
-
- list of cards and selects the card that most closely matches .

- ÀáNote:Àá M.Y.O.B. searches the list of displayed cards. If you cannot find the card
-
- you're searching for, check the selection criteria at the bottom of the window.

- ÀáDisplay CriteriaÀá

- Your cards are displayed alphabetically. There are five criteria you can use to
-
- customize your card display:
-

- 1. Card Type. Use the Card Type popup menu to display all cards or limit
-
- your display to just customers, vendors, employees or personal cards.
-

- 2. Identifier. Enter up to 26 identifiers and press Tab. M.Y.O.B. displays
-
- any card that has every identifier entered. Take, for example, a card that
-
- has the identifiers AB. If you enter A and press Tab, it is included in the
-
- list. Enter AB and it is included again. Enter ABC and it is not included.
-

- 3. Last Contact Date. This is the date of the most current contact log entry.
-
- Enter a date and press Tab. All entries in your card file that have not been
-
- contacted since that date are displayed in alphabetical order.

- 4. Recontact Date On or Before. Enter a date and press Tab. M.Y.O.B. looks
-
- through your contact log and displays all cards with recontact dates on or
-
- before the date entered.

- Note: To get the best use out of this feature, when you recontact the
-
- person, remember to delete the recontact date from the contact log entry.
-
- If you leave old recontact dates in your contact log, the card will always
-
- match this selection criterion.

- 5. Zip Code. M.Y.O.B. searches the zip codes for the card's primary (first)
-
- address. You may enter a partial zip code search. If you need, for example,
-
- to search for cards in northern New Jersey, enter "07." All cards with zip
-
- codes beginning with "07" are displayed.

- Click New Card to go to Card File Entry.

- ÀáEdit a CardÀá

- Click the white arrow or double-click the line to zoom to the card.

- ÀáDelete a CardÀá

- Single click a line to select a card. The line is inversed. Choose Delete Card from
-
- the Edit menu to remove the selected card from your card file.
-

- ÀáNote:Àá If a card has been linked to a transaction (invoice, check, etc.), you may
-
- not delete it until all linked transactions have been removed.
