  6. NewtATut (Newt Application Tutorial) is a Newton book version based on an
  7. article "Building Native Newton Applications with Newt" that appeared in PIE
  8. Developers, Vol. 2.4, July 1994; pp.14-18. This interactive tutorial will show
  9. how you can develop a simple application in NewtonScript directly on your
  10. Newton using Newt. (see Change History for content differences).

  17. NewtATut -- the book -- is freeware. "Newt" -- the native programming
  18. environment for developing applications using NewtonScript -- is shareware.
  19. Newt is not required to use this book, nor must it be registered to try
  20. NewtATut. If you have Newt installed on your Newton, you can build and test
  21. the application incrementally as you read. (You should be able to find Newt on
  22. the same server/service where you found this book, under a Newton  application
  23. or development directory, with a name similar to newt-devenv-23.hqx or
  24. newt23.sit). This version of NewtATut works with Newt version 2.3 (and greater).
