  6. NewtTurT (Newt Turtle Tutorial) is an interactive tutorial (Newton book) that
  7. will show how you can program in NewtonScript with turtle-style graphics
  8. directly on your Newton using Newt.  There is also a related book -- NewtATut
  9. (Newt Application Tutorial) -- that shows how you can develop a simple
  10. application with buttons, fields and other interface objects in NewtonScript
  11. using Newt.

  18. NewtTurT -- the book -- is freeware. "Newt" -- the native programming
  19. environment for developing applications and doing graphical programming -- is
  20. shareware. Newt is not required to use this book, nor must it be registered to
  21. try NewtTurT. If you have Newt installed on your Newton, you can try the
  22. examples as you read. (You should be able to find Newt on the same
  23. server/service where you found this book, under a Newton application or
  24. development directory, with a name similar to newt-devenv-23.hqx or
  25. newt23.sit). This version of NewtATut works with Newt version 2.3 (and
  26. greater).

  29. - a manual that introduces NewtonScript and describes Newt commands and methods
  30. - a set of graphics, prototype and application examples
  31. - notification and discussion of future releases of Newt and related online books
