This magazine was put together so that I could share my experiences with shareware and freeware games. I have played hundreds (possibly thousands) of games and read dozens of magazines (MacWorld, MacUser, Inside Macintosh Games) as well as books to find out what is the best. This is my contribution to the effort. Where possible I have tried to include the author's original comments and descriptions about the game (these will appear in black) where my own comments and descriptions will appear in red. Every game has been tested thoroughly on my Centris 610 (system 7.5 in 32 bit mode) and no problems have been found. I hope that this helps you choose the best games out there. If anyone thinks that there should be additions to this please let me know either through AOL or by writing or calling me. Also, the pictures included are not always an exact representation of what the game looks like due to the limitations of DOCMaker. These limitations include a fixed picture size (420 pixels wide) and a dithering of the pictures to the system palette of 256 colors.
Thanks,
Dave
P.S. The authors of these games have gone to a considerable amount of effort in writing them. If you like a game please reward the author by sending the requested shareware fee.
