This CD contains samples of illustrations taken from the Graphics Explosion Deluxe. All in all there are 60 sample images; 30 colour and 30 black and white, representing a tiny fraction of the incredible range of images in the full collection.
This CD also contains sample browsers for the full product. They display all of the images in the complete product. In the full version the browsers are linked to the individual images. The browsers are included to let teachers peruse the full scope of this amazing product.

Graphics Explosion Deluxe was born out of years of
classroom experience and during its development
teachers were widely consulted. Everyone producing
multimedia presentations or printing their work in

The new Deluxe edition:
The brand new Deluxe edition now features colour versions of all the images on CD ROM. This makes it a fantastic resource for printing to colour printers and for use in productions where the image is to be displayed on screen.
Colourising process:
When colourising the images great attention was paid to detail with completely new versions of the images being created. Unlike some clip art producers we have not filled the existing images with flat colour. The colour images of the Down Under Collection Deluxe feature patterns, feathering, gradient fills and much, much more. Solid blacks have been preserved to give extra clarity when printing to colour inkjet printers.
The images are supplied in two sizes for user's convenience. Some applications incorporate colour images into  
documents by loading them into RAM.
The small images are particularly
useful here as they demand far less
RAM to operate.
B&W quality for desktop
publishing and printing:
Graphics Explosion Deluxe includes
incredible 600 dpi B&W images for crisp printed output up to A4 size. Ideal for assignments, posters and photocopy masters.
Also included, are low resolution images which have been manually enhanced to give great results in low memory situations.
Great for colour printing!
The colour files have been optimised for use with inkjet printers. They feature vibrant colours, blends, solid blacks and generous size to enable scaled reductions.
Great for MultiMedia!
The colour files are saved at 72 dpi in indexed 256 colours. Perfect for use in multimedia applications. The Macintosh files are in Pict format and the Windows files are in PCX format. Both of these formats are usable by multimedia programs like Hyperstudio, Toolbook, HyperCard and so on.

For users without access to a CD ROM drive it is
possible to purchase an add on set of 30+ floppy
disks containing low resolution versions of Graphics
Explosion. Those who wish to purchase the
collection in this manner must first purchase the CD
edition and then add the disk set to it. This will
mean that you will already have your CD upgrade
ready for the CD drive your school will
undoubtedly purchase in the near future.
Acorn version
The Acorn version is only available on floppy disks and features illustrations in sprite and draw format. Graphics Explosion is an essential for all computer using schools.

Image Browser:
