Griffins are probably one of the most sought after monsters in existence. Griffins are half bird/half lion creatures. They are exceptionally fierce fighters. Their ability to see far away is roughly four times that of a normal human. They can also fly silently.
The reason why griffins are so sought after is that they can be trained. If properly trained and cared for, a griffin will stay fiercely devoted to its master until it dies. They are very fast flyers and are strong enough to carry a human while flying. Some will attack the nest of a griffin in order to steal the eggs. These eggs can then be sold for roughly 30,000 each. Note: It's expensive to keep a griffin. They will eat the equivalent of one normal sized horse every three days.
