- Cut
- Cut removes a selected object or a text selection from the
- document and places it on the Clipboard.
- The command Cut is possible with the Item tool selected. How Cut operates
- depends on if an object was created in MacPublisher or imported.
- Cut will affect boxes with their contents, lines, or groups.
- If used on an imported object. Cut operates on text or picture box contents.
- The item remains on the Clipboard until relaced by the next cut (or copied) object.
- To cut an item: Activate the item with the Item tool and choose Cut.

- If the Content tool is selected, use Cut to remove the highlighted
- text or textbox and place it on the Clipboard.
- To cut text: Highlight the text with the Content tool selected,
- and choose Cut.
- Paste subsequently can be used to place the text or picture
- residing on the Clipboard elsewhere in the active document or in
- another document or application.
- The keyboard shortcut for Cut is Cmd-X.
