Transcription: The March on Washington. More than 200,000 people walked from the Washington Monument to the Lincoln Memorial in the most massive protest demonstration this country had ever seen. They came to support pending civil rights legislation and many came to see and hear the man who would touch the conscience of a nation, the Reverend Martin Luther King Jr. I have a dream that one day this nation will rise up and live out the true meaning of its dreams. We hold these truths to be self-evident that all men are created equal.
