This is a bug fix release with a few minor additions. Replace your existing "Remember?" DA and "Remember? Extension" files with the new files provided in this release. All previous settings are preserved.
There is no additional charge for this version if you registered a previous V2.x.x version.
Desk Accessory (DA) BUGS FIXED

• Fixed problem with "Completed" in Occasion window menu. Could skip two occurances under some conditions. (Thanks to Mark Nagata for helping pin this one down.)
• While a dialog is active (such as Occasion Types or Page Setup,) pressing command key shortcuts from the "Revert to saved" or "What's Happening" sub-menus no longer crashes under System 7.
• Should have fixed problem with Apple 8•24 video cards crashing when clicking on the desk top when the DA is active (not verified.) A byproduct of this fix is that the "Remember?" menu blinks when clicking from one DA window to another.
• Eliminated possible crashes on some odd System 6 versions when deleting an occasion.
• Using the arrow keys to select an occasion in a "What's Happening" window correctly enables menu items.
• In "Occasion" window, doing a Find or Find Next now prompts to save changes to the current occasion before doing the search.
• Selecting "Page Setup" or "Print" when no printer has been selected gives a more appropriate message (was reporting "File not found".)
Remember? Extension (pop-up alerts) BUGS FIXED

• No longer get "Mac error -40" when the Extension is looking for alerts in very large occasion files.
• Under System 6 without MultiFinder, no longer bombs when launching an application from the Finder with the alert window open.
• The pop-up alert window disables items relating to running the DA ("Remember? DA", Edit, New, Anything of Interest) when the menu bar is hidden, such as can happen in HyperCard.
• Minor internal changes to simplify the code may improve compatibility.
NEW FEATURES

• In "Occasion" window, pressing the ENTER key will save changes to the current occasion, whether it is new or old. It is exactly equivalent to pressing Command-N for new occasions or Command-E for changed occasions. In "Find Occasion" window (or during search from any Occasion window,) pressing ENTER initiates or continues the search.
• The Extension cooperates better with screen savers. The pop-up alert no longer fights for control of the screen. The alert sound is still replayed as a reminder that an alert is waiting under the blanked screen.
• NEW PREFERENCE: "Startup/Restart Checks" item to disable display of happy/sad face icon at startup. (NOTE: If you use Now's Startup Manager and turn on its "Show invisible extensions" option, it will always display the happy face icon at startup in this case. You decide whether it is a feature.)
• NEW PREFERENCE: "Windows: Occasion" item added to select the default number of minutes advance warning for the "Alert at" time of new occasions. Current default is 0 (zero) minutes, same as before. This value must be in the range 0 through 1439 minutes (24 * 60 - 1 = one minute short of 24 hours.)
NOTES

• Added warning in installation section of manual regarding problems with anti-virus programs. Some can corrupt the installation of the DA, especially under System 7. Disinfectant works fine. You might want to turn off anti-virus while installing the DA if you get "Resource missing" errors trying to access the DA.
• There is an incompatibility between "Remember? Extension" and the shareware application "Detective" that can cause crashes when attempting to run the DA from the pop-up alert window. Unfortunately, I have no fix at this time.
• There is an incompatibility with the shareware control panels "BeHierarchical" and "MenuChoice" that can cause the system to crash if you access the Edit menu while entering data in a dialog window (such as Occasion Types, Occasion Files or Preferences.) It doesn't happen on all systems (in fact it works fine on mine which is why it isn't fixed yet.)
