  87. ======== License Agreement for Use and Distribution =============

  89. The JPS Development License Agreement is a legal agreement between
  90. you and JPS Development for the JPS Development programs identified
  91. above. By installing, copying or using the programs, you agree
  92. to be bound by terms of this agreement.
  93.  
  94. 1. DEFINITIONS.
  95.  
  96.   "Software" means the JPS Development software product, which
  97.   includes computer software and may include associated printed
  98.   materials and "online" or electronic documentation.
  99.  
  100.   "Unregistered Version" means a copy of the Software you obtained
  101.   for evaluation purposes. It is described as "Unregistered Version"
  102.   in the program's "About" dialog box and has some limitations as
  103.   explained above in this file.
  104.  
  105.   "Registered Version" means a copy of the Software you obtained
  106.   from JPS Development or its authorized dealer after paying
  107.   a license fee for it.
  108.  
  109. 2. TRIAL USE LICENSE
  110.  
  111.   This License Agreement grants you the right to use
  112.   the Unregistered Version for evaluation purposes for a period
  113.   not longer than 30 days. The Unregistered Version is in use on
  114.   a computer when it is loaded into temporary memory (e.i. RAM)
  115.   of that computer. After 30 days starting from your first use
  116.   you must either register the Software or stop using it.
  117.  
  118. 3. REGISTERING SOFTWARE
  119.  
  120.   After paying a license fee you will receive the Registered
  121.   Version and you will be entitled to receive free upgrades
  122.   within the next 12 months. When we are about to release a new
  123.   version, an upgrade notice will be sent to you via e-mail.
  124.   Then, using a temporary password, you will be able to download
  125.   a registered copy of our latest software.
  126.  
  127. 4. COPYRIGHT AND OTHER RIGHTS AND LIMITATIONS
  128.  
  129.   The Software is owned by JPS Development and is protected
  130.   by copyright laws and international treaty provisions. Therefore,
  131.   you must treat the Software like any other copyrighted material.
  132.   You may not reverse engineer, decompile, modify, disassemble
  133.   or make copies of the Software except as provided elsewhere
  134.   in this agreement. All rights not expressly granted in this
  135.   agreement are reserved to JPS Development.
  136.  
  137. 5. LIMITED DISTRIBUTION LICENSE
  138.  
  139.   You may make copies of the Unregistered Version and give
  140.   it to others, or distribute it in any possible way (like
  141.   uploading online services, ftp sites and BBSes) as long as you:
  142.  
  143.   - include all of the unmodified files, as listed above
  144.     in this file;
  145.  
  146.   - agree to inform the users that the Unregistered Version may be
  147.     used for a time limited evaluation period, and that it must be
  148.     registered to continue to use the Program once the evaluation
  149.     period has ended;
  150.  
  151.   - do not bundle the Software with any other software without
  152.     written permission from JPS Development;
  153.  
  154. 6. DISCLAIMER OF WARRANTY
  155.  
  156.   The Software is provided "as is", without warranty of any kind.
  157.   JPS DEVELOPMENT DISCLAIMS ALL IMPLIED WARRANTIES INCLUDING
  158.   ANY IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY AND FITNESS
  159.   FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE.
  160.  
  161.   TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, IN NO EVENT
  162.   SHALL JPS DEVELOPMENT OR ANYONE ELSE INVOLVED IN THE PRODUCTION
  163.   OR DELIVERY OF THE SOFTWARE BE LIABLE FOR ANY SPECIAL,
  164.   INCIDENTAL, INDIRECT, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES WHATSOEVER
  165.   (INCLUDING, WITHOUT LIMITATION, DAMAGES FOR LOSS OF BUSINESS
  166.   PROFITS, BUSINESS INTERRUPTION, LOSS OF BUSINESS INFORMATION,
  167.   OR OTHER PECUNIARY LOSS) ARISING OUT OF THE USE OF OR INABILITY
  168.   TO USE THE SOFTWARE, EVEN IF JPS DEVELOPMENT HAS BEEN ADVISED
  169.   OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.
