  1. WHAT'S NEW IN CONVERTER 1.5

  4. Several improvements have been made to Converter in version 1.5
  5. Some of them include:
  6.  
  7.     Improvements to the user interface. In version 1.0, all
  8. of the conversion windows were started from one Measures menu.
  9. In version 1.5, the conversion windows are divided into categories
  10. including: length, volume, weight, area and miscellaneous. The 
  11. individual conversion windows are started from these menu categories.
  12.  
  13.     Biblical Measures. Conversion windows for Biblical lengths, 
  14. Biblical Dry Measures, Biblical Liquid Measures and Biblical weights
  15. have been added to version 1.5. The windows allow you to convert ancient
  16. measurements to their modern U.S. and metric equivalents.
  17.  
  18.     Improved online help. An expanded online help file that uses 
  19. the Windows help engine is available in version 1.5. Help can be accessed
  20. by pressing the F1 key at any time in Converter or by selecting Contents 
  21. under the help menu in the main window.

  23. Several minor bugs that were present in version 1.0 have been fixed in
  24. version 1.5.

  26.     Tab orders in some conversion windows were confused. This was 
  27. frustrating to those using keyboards rather than mice. All tab orders
  28. are fixed in version 1.5.

  30.     The Cut, Copy, and Paste choices under the Edit menu in the 
  31. conversion windows are grayed out when those choices cannot be made. All
  32. choices appeared to be available at all times in version 1.0.
  33.  
  34.     There was a bug in version 1.0 that caused an error message and
  35. shut down the program when the Edit menu was selected immediately after
  36. the Clear button had been clicked. That bug has been fixed.
