  21. These are all possible points in the menu. Normally you only see the points
  22. which you can execute because of your user level or which make sense for the
  23. current action.

  25. In the following you find an exact description of the several commands:
  26.  
  27. CE = Change Emulation     Here you can set the display of your monitor. Using
  28.                           TTY your display is monochrom without color and font
  29.                           attributes. Using VT100/ANSI all color and font
  30.                           attributes are possible. If you have CLS activated,
  31.                           the screen will be cleared after each full page.
  32.                           This would be recommendable on slow computers
  33.                           because the screen speed will be increased. If you
  34.                           have made no setup the default mode is TTY.
  35.  
  36. CF = Change List Form     With this command you can choose one of 18 different
  37.                           list forms which will be automatically proposed on
  38.                           each list. Never the less the proposal can be
  39.                           changed on each individual list.

  41. CH = Change HelpText      With this command you can change the type of help
  42.                           text. The help text is either not shown on the input
  43.                           line or as a combination of letters or as full menu.
  44.                           Even if the help text is off or as combination of
  45.                           letters you can call the full menu by pressing
  46.                           enter. If you don`t have made a setup the full help
  47.                           text will be displayed.

  49. CL = Change # of Lines    Here you can insert the number of lines on the
  50.                           screen. If the file listing has more than the de-
  51.                           fined lines you will be asked "More [Y/n] : ".
  52.                           If you don`t have a number defined the default value
  53.                           is 23 lines.

  55. CS = Chat SysOp           This function makes a bell ringing on the BBS host
  56.                           to call the sysop. If the sysop is ready you find
  57.                           yourself in the chat mode. If the sysop is not
  58.                           available you get a message. Now you can leave a
  59.                           private mail to him (sysop user number 5).

  61. CT = Change Transfer      With this command you define the transfer protocol
  62.                           for up- and downloads. After you have entered CT
  63.                           all possible upload protocols will be listed. When
  64.                           you have entered the respective number the protocols
  65.                           for downloads will be listed in the same way. If you
  66.                           don`t have made any setups no up- and downloads will
  67.                           be executed.

  69. EC = Edit Computer        With this command you can edit your statements
  70.                           concerning your computer equipment. It serves to
  71.                           inform the sysop.

  73. EE = Edit Email Address   With this command you can edit your email address.
  74.                           It serves to inform the sysop.

  76. EM = Edit Modem           With this command you can edit your settings
  77.                           concerning the modem type and speed. It serves to
  78.                           inform the sysop.

  80. EP = Edit Password        This command allows you to edit your password.
  81.                           You will be requested to insert a password, your
  82.                           former password will be shown.

  84. MM = Main Menu            With this command you can get back from this board
  85.                           to the main menu.

  87. SS = Show Setup           With this function you can display all your personal
  88.                           data which you have inserted at Join as a Member,
  89.                           the number of lines, the emulation, the type of help
  90.                           text, list form and the transfer protocols for up-
  91.                           and download.
